2025 Round Two: SBT Group Taranaki Tarmac Rally

The Hawkeswood Mining North Island Rally Series heads to the iconic tarmac roads of Taranaki for Round 2! Hosted by Taranaki and South Taranaki Car Clubs, this event features both National and Clubman’s rallies and yes, Article 7.2.C applies, so if you only do the Clubman’s competition, you will only earn half points, so enter the National rally for full points!

The National rally includes 9 stages and 124km of competition, while the Clubman’s rally runs 5 stages over 70km. Expect everything from rainforest tunnels and ridge-top views to high-speed jumps and tight technical sections, true Taranaki chaos!

Headquarters and service parks are based in New Plymouth, with both rallies starting and finishing at the Plymouth International Hotel. RallySafe is mandatory, and first-time competitors may qualify for entry fee scholarships.
